The Colorado Historical Society will hold a public meeting to give residents of La Junta an opportunity to participate in the development of an upcoming State Historic Preservation Plan. The historical society wants input from the community in order to develop the most effective State Historic Preservation Plan possible, and seeks to identify La Junta's strengths and weaknesses in terms of historic preservation. The historical society is also interested to learn how it can provide support and assistance with the community’s local historic preservation goals.
