On the date of Equinox morning the Forest Service opens the gates to Crack Cave in Picture Canyon to allow the public to view the sunrise revelation of Crack Cave's ancient writings. Theorized by some to be Ancient Celtic Ogam, the cave offers connections to Old World visitors long before Columbus discovered America.
